During these years I've seen it all when it comes to clients transferring money and property to their children. In particular, I've observed there is no such thing as family loyalty when children divide inherited money and property. You may believe your children are "perfect", but you really don't know your children or sons/daughters-in-law until they get around to dividing your money and property.

I have authored a book entitled "Beyond the Grave-The Right Way and the Wrong Way of Leaving Money to children-or Others", published by Harper/Collins 1995, updated and republished June, 2001, based upon 35 years experience and in particular as a "percipient" witness to what happens when client's money and property go from parents to children.
